Juli serves on the Board of Directors for 180 Degrees, an organization that aims to turn lives around through creating safe spaces and services that honor individuals’ healing journeys. She is also a volunteer with the Conflict Resolution Center of Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights. Juli lives in the Twin Cities with her husband of 31 years and their first granddaughter—a teenager—whom they raise. She enjoys time spent with them, her two adult children, their spouses, and her four other grandchildren, and other family and friends. Hobbies include traveling, reading, writing, playing pickleball, competing in fantasy football, and enjoying the outdoors.
