For the hundreds of people who visit MDA's office each year to complete the assessment process, Ted Maday serves as the face of that experience, meeting nearly every assessee and shepherding them through the sometimes stressful assessment process with an approach that is both efficient and calming.Ted's ability to put people at ease, while keeping the multi-part process on track, contributes significantly to the high satisfactions scores given by assesses who participate in the process.
Ted's ability to put people at ease began early in his career when he taught math and science to sixth, seventh, and eighth graders while serving as principal and athletic director in northern Wisconsin, nothing could be more challenging to a persons ability to remain calm under pressure!
Ted joined MDA Leadership Consulting in 2004, bringing with him a vast background in teaching and training, as well as the entrepreneurial skills as an antiques/collectables dealer and owning and operating a hobby farm. Ted has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Biology from Mount Senario College and a Masters degree in Education from Saint Mary’s University.
Outside of work, Ted enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially if those trips take him back into central Wisconsin. His ideal getaway is to head to the Bayfield area and enjoy the Apostle Islands and Lake Superior region. While originally hailing from Wisconsin, Ted is a die-hard Minnesota Twins fan and enjoys all aspects of major league baseball.
